A breath of FRESH AIR

This week the Minister of Health announced that masks will no longer obligatory in open-air spaces from this Saturday, 26th June. This applies when 1.5 meter safety distance can be maintained.

The use of masks will continue to be mandatory:

  • when it is not possible to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres

  • in closed places for the public e.g, shops, banks, bars, etc

  • when using public transport

The Health Minister stated that people must remember to carry a mask on them at all times, as they may go inside somewhere, use public transport or perhaps find themselves in a crowded area where the safety distance cannot be maintained, we must always be prepared.

The Minister indicated that the mask standard in Spain has been especially harsh and for this reason feels that flexibility is a way of "giving citizens what they deserve for that exemplary nature."

STAY SAFE AND REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TAKE YOUR MASK WITH YOU!
